Photo Shoot Tips!

Hey Ya'll!
CeCe had a photo shoot done yesterday so I decided to entice you with this pretty photo of my girl! Also, I'm going to post tips on how to do a good photoshoot. :D  (And this is a dress made by ME! From an old skirt of mine.)

1.) Do interesting angles! Yes, you can do straight on photos, which do look very nice, (most of the time) but also try to funk it up with an angle from above, below, the side, diagonal.. You get the idea. :)

2.) Do interesting  scenes, like for this I decided to dress her as a Hawaiian bridesmaid so the Azelia bush in our front yard was perfect!

3.) The focus doesn't always have to be on the doll.. It can be on s omething else in the photo, like these last two pictures had CeCe kinda blurred, which is fine, because its focused on something else in the photo.

4.) Add interesting props. This flower just happened to be on the ground when I went outside.. So I used it.But, when using props, try to make it "go" with the theme of the shoot. Unless you have no theme, then do whatever. lol.

 5.) It doesn't always have to have the dolls face. It can be on another interest part. (And another one, it doesn't have to be perfect, in all of these they have imperfections, every photo will. IN this one its to bright i some spots.)

6.) Those little details. They make up everything! The clip you see is really a hair clip, but its butterfly shaped and sparkly, so it went with the overall "theme".

7.) Take multiple of the "Same" shots, it can be the same angle, or different angle, but you want to make sure one comes out right. (P.S. thats the clip! Cute, huh?)

8.) Play footsies! (Not the under-the-table-nudging each other game). Photos of doll feet, with or without shoes on, are just SO sweet! :)

9.) Be interesting! Do something fun with your photos. I think this one is cool because CeCe is showing us her flowers! :D (With the flower in the background too!)

10.) Most of all, have fun with the shoot, and just enjoy yourself. You don't really need to follow "rules" Then it would be no fun! These are just suggestions on things you can do.. So now, just enjoy some photos!

Oh, one last one.
11.) Be creative! I clipped these to her dress with the hairclip in this shot, because it wouldn't stay in her hand unless it was in a certain position, so it just gives the idea she is holding it! :)

Soooo... I'd never been tagged before, and suddenly I got 2 last week, and one this week and its only Monday! WOW! I will be posting the two tags this evening, and then I took some sweet photos of Cecile today so I'll be posting those tomorrow evening. :}

1. If you could create any American Girl doll, what would she look like, and what would her name be?
Umm... Hmm, hard question! She would have auburn hair, brown eyes, very light freckles sprinkled across her nose, and her name would be.... Celeste.

2. What American Girl dolls do you have?

(In order I got) Nicki, Felicity, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Kanani and Josefina, (same day) Samantha, Cecile.
                                                3. Do you have any non-AG 18 inch dolls?
Yes, I have 5 non AG brand. 3 gotz, (old like, 1980's, the ones that helped AG along)

                                    4. What is your absolute favorite brand of dolls?

AMERICAN GIRL ALL THE WAY!
                         5. What is the next doll (AG or non-AG) that you want to get?
Umm, an AG but I can't decide which one! I really want #4 but she'll come later because I want to get one from the store.
                                               

6. What is your favorite thing to do with your dolls?

 

Do their hair, take photos, and dress.

      7. Do you have a place for your dolls, like a corner of a room, where their's beds and stuff?

                          Well.. I'm building a doll house in my closet, so some of the stuff is on their floor, some is under my bed, and the dolls are in a corner of my room right now.. It'll be a lot neater when the shelves are up. lol!

8. Would you rather use the computer/watch TV/play on your phone or electronical device/play video games or play with your dolls?

                                      Can I say I like to do them all??

        9. If your parents told you that you could only have one doll, what would you do?

                             Depends, if I only had one then I would be sad but okay. If I had all I do then they told me I had to get rid of all but one, I'd beg and beg to be able to keep them. lol.

10. Have you ever found an American Girl brand item (can be anything) at a second-hand store?

                             Yes! I've found books! :)

                                 11. Do your friends share your love for dolls?

                              Some of them do some of them don't.

                             12. What is your favorite non-AG doll brand?

                                    Umm.. OG? just for the furniture.  In other size dolls H4H.

                                13. Where do you get your inspiration?

Def other doll blogs. (IE Doll diaries, Doll Delight, (FKA The Spicys) My American Girls Story)

                       14. Does anyone in your family share your love for dolls?

                Mom plays them with me, sometimes dad plays with them with me. But I only have an older brother soo not like exactly.              

                             15. Where did you get the idea to start a blog?

I had wanted one for a while so I'd made a weebly, but didn't like it. I got inspiration from the places I mentioned above, and many others including Pretty Lilly, and many others. So I finally was allowed to and was so excited! I can't believe I have 15 wonderful followers! (5 more and a giveaway!)

Braids but my hair is still kinda short for them... So ponytail. Easy peasy. LOL.

Hey!

The only reason I wasn't posting is because I was on vacation!
I went to DISNEYLAND!

I just prefer not to say when I'm leaving. lol. Or did I mention it on this blog? I dunno.
Anywho I'm back!
I got back Monday but I was sick on the trip and I'm still recouping so normal posts will resume on Monday. :)

But I got awarded so I'm posting that. :D

Hiya!

SO I decided I had wanted to have my dolls post on here... and not me as much.. Well, I am changing again.
I'm going back to how it was originally.

I always want ME to post something not the girls, so it wasn't really working out. Sometimes the dolls will post or I may make them a page, but I'm going back to normal.

I'm sorry for always switching. I know my blog is several months old but I'm still getting into some kind of groove.

So last switch for a while, I swear.
